Denver Health-- HIV Primary Care Clinic

Description:
Denver Community Health Services provides primary care service for HIV patients at our Eastside Family Health Center and at the Wellington Webb center for primary care. The HIV Primary Care program allows HIV patients to be seen at a local community health center alongside other patients seeking care at the clinic, which provides our patients with anonymity and the comfort of receiving care at a traditional community health clinic. We provide care from Board-Certified Physicians with specialized training in Internal Medicine. Our physicians are specially trained to provide routine medical care (primary care) services to all populations, and have received specialized training in the treatment of HIV. This means that our doctors treat the whole person and their medical conditions, not just the HIV disease. Linkage to other Vital Services: Our clinic is unique in that we provide psychiatric care, clinical social work services, dietary instruction, and referrals to other organizations dedicated to providing resources to HIV patients. We are a medical home.
