Formed in the summer of 1986, The AIDS Coalition for Education (ACE) was the oldest and longest running coalition of its kind in the nation. At the end of 2021, the ACE Directory was transitioned to Colorado Health Network and now operates as the Colorado HIV Services Resource Directory.

ACE was originally comprised of over 30 public and private organizations and individuals who have interests in or activities specifically related to HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and sexual health education, information, prevention, and care services. ACE continues to operate, primarily to organize and run the National Sexual Health Conference.
